Windows 7 PC stuck on update

Hello,
My PC has been stuck on update 1 of 1 for hours.
I can't do anything, can't turn it off, can't access the control panel, or anything else. COMPLETELY STUCK
What should I do?
Thank you for your help, my PC is unusable.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 536.11

Good evening,

if you have a laptop, try this

unplug the laptop from the 230 volts power supply, remove the battery and hold down the power button for more than 10 seconds.

reinsert the battery, then try again.

I did indeed remove the battery and put it back after 10 minutes, then everything went back to normal.
