Hello,
If I understood your question correctly, yes, you can save certain selected artboards from Illustrator to PDF.
File > Save As, and then you choose PDF.
At the bottom of the window, you check the box Range.
Then you can choose the artboard you want by entering its number.
For example, if you're on a 16-page document and you want to select the 3rd artboard, you write 3; if you want to select from the 3rd artboard to the 10th artboard, you do (3-10).
And if you want to select the 3rd and the 10th artboards, you do (3,10), a comma instead of a hyphen. If you want to select the 3rd, the 10th, and the 12th artboards up to the 16th, you do (3,10,12-16).
It’s just like printing.
