Hello,
Jdate.com is a scam site. Not only because of unjustified charges, but also and especially because Jdate.com has very few members worldwide. It has nothing to do with what Jdate.com claims in its ads. In France, there are only about 250 members in total, including both men and women, and this is not likely to improve since Jdate.com does not engage in any promotion, which would be the only way to generate traffic and thus make this site reliable. So for the price of a real and solid dating club, around €30 per month, like Meetic for example, you only get a few contacts, which in terms of returns is close to zero.
Jdate.com also has no scruples even though the contract, for good reason, is not respected. The managers of Jdate.com could offer some freebies to compensate for the abysmally low success rate, but they don't. Jdate.com’s policy is to cash in, and that’s it.
It's a shame because a genuine Jewish dating site, which would have the power of others, is really lacking. So, Jdate.com, avoid it or you will get fleeced...

I have been a member of Jdate for about 6 months, and I do not quite agree with what is said. First of all, I met several very serious and lovely people, but unfortunately, we were not compatible.
And I know people around me who have gotten married thanks to Jdate.
As for promotions, I benefited from a 6-month subscription, the normal price was 93 euros, and I paid 73.50 euros. So, don't say that they don't make an effort with promotions because that is false!!
Regarding the automatic renewal of subscriptions, indeed they all come with a renewal according to the plan you choose. But once subscribed, you have the option to remove this renewal at any time, either by going to "Services and Information," and "Automatic Renewal Settings," and unchecking the box in front of "subscription," or if you are not very skilled, you can make your request by email to customer service, and they will quickly send you a confirmation of the cancellation of this renewal.

Hi, it's Jessica and I'm also a member of Jdate. I can tell you that I called customer service and I spoke to Precilia who completely understood my financial situation. I asked her for a one-month subscription, and at first she offered me the subscription for 29.50. I asked her for a discount and she gave me the same subscription for 22 euros.
Furthermore, I asked her not to renew it, and in less than 5 minutes I received a confirmation email that the renewal had been removed.
Additionally, I must add that the fact that the service is paid makes the site more serious than all the others.
