Hello everyone,
Here is my problem: when I start my computer a message indicates that I have a problem with rtl150.bpl. Not being skilled, I still tried to find out where it came from. I can't find any files with that name.
Thank you for your help.
Have a great end of the day.
Mimi

Hello, I solved the problem by downloading a new version of Spybot from another computer onto a USB drive, which I then installed on the faulty computer.
Be careful, you must keep the old version of Spybot on your computer; otherwise, you'll be unable to install the new one!
Finally, once installed, you need to launch a "update" of Spybot and you will be able to connect to the internet again through Spybot's proxy!
Now you know that if you buy a new computer, you should steer clear of the Spybot software like the plague!!!

Hello, I had the same problem on W8 with the following message at startup: sdtray.exe system error unable to start the program because
rtl150.bpl is missing from your computer. Please try reinstalling the program to fix this issue.
History: I uninstalled Spybot. When I performed a system restore to a date after that uninstallation, the error message appeared at every startup.
I reinstalled the program in its original version, unchecking the box that asked me to uninstall the old one first. Once reinstalled, I permanently uninstalled it and created a later restore point. Thank you for your valuable help and thanks to how it works.

Me too. Here is my solution.
Hello,
PROBLEM SOLVED as far as I'm concerned with the following method:
I simply re-downloaded Spybot and reinstalled it REMOVING all the Checks. (especially the one that asked for the uninstallation of the previous version of Spybot).
Then after enjoying Spybot, testing my PC, vaccinating, etc....
I requested a complete uninstallation (without trying to restore quarantines, etc.).
This uninstallation is not necessary, but I did it to ensure that SDTray.exe no longer informed me that rtl150.bpl was missing.
PROBLEM SOLVED as far as I'm concerned :)
