Misunderstanding of the ending of "Jeux d'enfants"

Hello, I watched the movie "Love Me If You Dare" and I didn't understand the ending. Are they really dead or is it just a way to show that their love is sealed for life?

I think the viewer is free to choose the ending that suits them, depending on their feelings: either they commit suicide (at the beginning of the film, Julien actually talks about this challenge of walling himself in concrete), or they grow old together. For my part, I tend to believe that they actually commit suicide, thinking that this is the only way to be united forever. It's up to you to form your own opinion :)

Same, I'm not sure I fully understand the ending.
I also see another side, another image, like an impossible love, a destructive love that leads them to death..
Or the image where they age like children, which is prettier and gives a better picture of love..
