Hello,
Is it possible to run software or play a game from a USB flash drive without any data being saved on the host? Let me explain, I want to play a game (free) with a friend, but unfortunately, it takes 5GB, and I only have 2 megabits/second in download speed. Basically, I start the download, and it lasts 11 hours. The problem is that I don't want to wait that long, especially since my parents wouldn't want me to leave the computer on for 11 hours. So I was wondering if a friend (whom I know has fiber optic internet, so 100 megabits/second) could download it and give it to me on a USB flash drive so I can play from it. Is this operation possible? If so, what accessories would be needed? Thank you for your answers that have long solved my problems... :)
