Hello, I bought an Asus P8Z77-V LX for my computer: socket 1155 LGA
I have a Dell motherboard, a 0Y2MRG
the chip in my computer is an Intel with a socket 1155 LGA
I have a Corsair 400R case
a graphics card, EngTX570
an Antec 750 watt power supply
everything is only 1 year old
today I installed the Asus motherboard
but the computer doesn't start, there is only a small green light that lights up on it
the video card has power because it also has lights on it
nothing is really happening, no beeps, no fans, nothing
the only thing I noticed is the main power connection, it requires an 8-pin connector and with my Antec, I can only do 6, while the motherboard needs 8
also in the manual it shows in "images" that on the motherboard connection it requires 4 12V and 4 ground
could this be my problem? According to the technician who sold it to me, it's unlikely
the memory stick installs without any issues
if anyone has any idea, you are welcome
oh yes, I put my old motherboard back and everything works
thanks
oh yes, since I installed it myself, there is of course no warranty
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

I just registered 5 minutes ago because of the same problem, I think Asus is making crap.
Still haven't found a solution.
Still haven't found a solution.
I'll try to find that online.
here's what it says in the book
connect the EATX 4/8 pin connector, otherwise the system won't start
I only have a 6/8 pin
so why is he showing me in the diagram 4-12v and 4 ground
page 2-23
it's a PDF and it's not really a diagram
if you find something better
I'll keep searching
