Hello,

I can no longer receive the French channels from TNTSAT (Astra satellite). I hope someone can help me because I believe I've tried everything, and I can't resolve this issue:

I have a HUMAX TN5000HD receiver + TNTSAT card (purchased in February 2012).

Let me share my story with you ;-)
- suddenly, I can no longer receive the French channels, and a message appears on the TV asking me to call to renew the card.
- I went to the distributor with the receiver to have it checked. There, everything seems to work fine: the channels are detected by the scan, and the card expires in May 2015.
- Back home, I plug in the receiver, and nothing works: no TNTSAT channels are detected.
- I reset the receiver to factory settings, no change.
- However, the receiver does detect other Astra channels (English and German channels) so the dish is properly oriented, and the connection should be correct. But I don't receive the French channels from TNTSAT...
- I also reset the TV just in case it filters the channels... but nothing.
- I also connected the Humax to the router to update it... but nothing.

Conclusion:
- it does not seem to be an issue with the HUMAX receiver + TNTSAT card (it worked perfectly at the distributor's)
- it does not seem to be an issue with the dish or the connection (I am receiving the English and German channels from the Astra satellite)
- it does not seem to be an issue with the TV (Panasonic Viera): I reset it to factory settings, but to no avail.

In short, I admit that I do not understand where the problem lies...

Thank you for your help!!

    GOOD EVENING
Turn off the decoder, unplug the power cord + antenna cable, remove the card, lightly rub the chip on a piece of clothing, reinsert the card all the way with the chip facing the back, directed towards the ground
Reconnect the power supply of the decoder (not the antenna cable)
    Turn it on
Wait for a message like 'no signal' and then reconnect the antenna cable
Then follow the on-screen instructions, or switch to a channel, or reset the decoder.
