Hello,
While running this morning, I dropped my iTouch, and the screen cracked around the edges! It turns out my iTouch is new, well, almost from last Christmas. Will they exchange it for me? Or will they repair it at Fnac? I should mention that everything else works.. Thank you for explaining how it works if you know!

The warranty only applies to an internal issue with the device; if you break it (as is the case), the warranty does not cover it. Therefore, if you take it for repair, all the costs will be your responsibility. You can request a quote, which will likely be chargeable, to find out how much it will cost you.
