Good evening, I searched through the many posts but could not find a solution to my problem.
I have the same issue as many others apparently; I have tried everything and nothing works.
The problem occurs with any program and at any time (5 minutes or 5 hours of use)
I tried formatting while reinstalling
Windows --> nothing
Windows + SP1 --> nothing
Windows + SP2 --> nothing
Windows + update --> nothing
I don't know what to do anymore.
The only small detail that might help my possible savior is that in the message
"the instruction at " 0x xxxxxxxx" uses the memory address " AAAAAAAAAAA"
whatever the error, the second code "AAA..." is always the same but I don't know what it corresponds to.
For your information: my 2X1024 of RAM passed 3 PASSES under memtest without a single error.
Thanks in advance

Still not resolved but I'm coping with it, but for those interested, this comes from Internet Explorer 7.0 and the modification of the context menu.
That's all I've been able to pinpoint. -
Hello micapilote,
in summary, what is your problem exactly besides the display of this message?
It would be good if you could give us these "xxxx..." and these "AAA..."
A concrete example would help us maybe to see better.
See you later

**(show me the direction and I will find the way myself.)** -
Hello!
Is there nothing new regarding context menus, whether with the different applications or with IE or others?
Do you not see anything unusual in that regard?
No new values in there?
And it's true that if we could have the figures found in your error message, it would be better, after all...;-)
--
Knowledge is only wealth if shared.-
Nothing new for the context menu.
Otherwise, I did a format by installing only Windows + SP2 without any other programs, and it crashed during an update, so I’m looking into my drivers and more specifically the applications that install them.
I have reformatted for the umpteenth time and installed the drivers directly through the device manager without going through their respective applications; I’m looking into that now.
I wonder if these two installs have the same role and might conflict when both are installed.

I'm coming back to the previous post, the WinRAR software was installed (v3.6 managing dual core: my case) and so the context menu has been modified.
I'm currently testing with a version < 3.6 to see if the problem might come from it.
Stay tuned for the next episode. -

Here is the message of the day
The instruction at "0x7c882f9c" uses the address "0x7c882f9c". Memory cannot be written.
It was working fine until an update, it crashed during the installation of the 16th patch (16 out of 45).
I restarted after a reboot to finish the update and it happened again at the 22nd patch (22 out of 29).
I launched the "my drivers" software, and at 30% of backing up my drivers, whoops, it happened again.
The address is always in the form "xxxxx82f9c"
and in the event manager, the error is in the form
"Faulting application 'it always changes', faulting module, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000000000.
I admit that I am completely confused!!! -
If it helps, in "system information" conflicts/sharing
among the ten or so conflicts, there is one that stands out to me.
PCI BUS with Direct Memory Access Controller
could my errors come from there? -
Problem still present
help me please, all my software and the OS are original it ...
the error is always the same whenever the program launched crashes it gives me
The instruction at "0x7c882f9c" uses the address "0x7c882f9c". Memory cannot be written.-
Mecapilote Hello,
I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one with the same issue, but on the other hand, I'm really scared because I think if it has been more than a week that you can't do it. For me, it's a total disaster, I don't understand anything.
If by any chance you manage to solve this big problem, may I ask you to send me an email to tell me how to do it.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
PAULA

I had this problem very recently, let's say..., for the past 2-3 days.
I managed to solve the problem by updating the motherboard's BIOS.
I hope this method will help solve your issues!
Goodbye!

Hello micapilote,
malware are very sneaky, so it has to be looked at on a case-by-case basis.
it's not the object itself, it's the place where it is that makes it legitimate or bad.
so be careful: as long as there are no malfunctions, it's fine.

if in doubt, run a hijackthis and send the report.
see you later

Hello, I just submitted a hijack report because I also get a message when I close my PC either "memory cannot be read" or "memory cannot be written". I use RAM Boost to free up space on my PC. I have Kaspersky as my antivirus which flagged a "MASS-MAILER" that I quarantined, but Kaspersky cannot put it in quarantine, so it asks me to either ignore it, but I have not added it to my trusted zone. Could you help me resolve this issue?
I am a beginner but I will be able to follow you, here is my hijack report

Me, it was when I was working with the micro application ..your photos on TV 2007 ..The problem was solved by deleting ..FFDSHOW..
I used the Revo software to delete it ..and no more problems now...!!! -
Honestly, I don't know, but in any case, keep me posted because your concern interests me.
We are really dealing with an error that could come from quite a few things.
--
Knowledge is only wealth if it is shared. -
After much formatting, still no solution.
The last format was done with the manufacturer's CD but nothing.
I think I will cross my fingers for a month and switch to Vista, hoping the problem will resolve itself. -
Hello micapilote,
okay!!!!
good luck
see you later

**(show me the direction and I will find the way by myself.)** -
I am starting to incriminate the memory despite a successful pass via the memtest software.
However, in memtest, by selecting "BIOS - All" in memory sizing, it gives me more than 2000 errors!!
What is this test and what memory does it test? It gives the value of 195G under the "Cached" box!
Thank you for shedding light on my questions. -
Oh finally a glimmer of hope, according to Dr. Watson's journal
ALL MY ERRORS are recorded in the form
C:\XXXX c0000005 kernel32(7C882F9C)
if this means anything to someone, I'm all ears because it doesn't make sense to me.
thank you -
Hello micapilote,
why this statement?
I have 2 PCs with IE7 and no issues.
take a look here: handled exception c0000005 at address 100016b8

if not resolved with that:
** download and install "hijackthis" if you haven't already (click on "install" and not "save"):
http://telechargement.zebulon.fr/160-patch-francais-pour-hijackthis-1991.html
run "hijackthis" > "scan and save the log"
at the end a text file opens, copy/paste its entire content here.
see you later

Good evening micapilote,
run "hijackthis" > "scan only", check the boxes next to the following lines if they reappear, close all windows and applications including the internet and click on "fix item":
