As for 'written', that's fine, but the rest of the sentence.... I don't understand anything about these numbers and Microsoft could change these numbers to a filename or give us a bit more clue.
I'm sure about my memory sticks, the PC operates normally.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello,
I advise you to test the RAM and the hard drive (just in case it’s the virtual memory).
You can use this for example:
http://support.packardbell.com/fr/item/index.php?i=6917051000&pi=platform_amadeus_imedia

Otherwise, you can try to play your video with another application or update your video playback software.

Good luck.

Hi, actually I tried reading with another application, I can play my videos with the Dvix player, but when I want to play with MPC or WMP, I get this message: The memory cannot be in a 'written' state,
I will try reinstalling MPC to see if it fixes the problem (because I really like this player), I'll keep you updated.

In that case, I suggest you test the RAM since different software uses RAM in different ways.

Hi spider - pig, I ran the test with "ramtest" and everything is fine, it didn't find any problems (the test was long by the way), I don't know what else to do apart from reformatting the disk to stop getting this message. But could it be related to the registry, I don't know, a missing DLL that prevents me from playing videos on MPC and WMP?
I can play music, though, with WMP. So if someone has a solution?

What "ramtest"?

Otherwise, you should try updating the Divx codec and/or trying it with VLC.

It may also be a problem with the graphics card driver or a faulty power supply affecting the virtual memory.
You can therefore update your graphics card driver and run a hard disk diagnostic to rule out all possibilities.
