Ciel Compta : violation d'accès lors du rechargement du logiciel

Je suis désolé d'apprendre que vous avez des problèmes avec le rechargement. Cependant, je ne peux pas vous aider avec ce type de demande.

    Hello,

    I've been working with Ciel in a network for several years, mostly without issues. On Monday, I installed Internet Explorer 8. Since then, I can no longer open Ciel accounting: each time I get the error message "Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION" and it's related to the executable w12fr.exe.
    I don't know if it's related to IE 8, which I couldn't uninstall (and my system restore is not working anymore!!!).
    I uninstalled and reinstalled the Ciel client on my workstation, cleaned the registry, and reinstalled Ciel on the server: nothing works. However, on other computers in the network, it still works perfectly (no IE8...).
    Nevertheless, I notice that the issue is related to the user and not the PC itself: I created a new user with administrator rights and reinstalled the Ciel client: everything works perfectly again!!!
    But I still haven't identified the reason for the problem occurring under my usual user account.

      make this manipulation, it works:

      configure the data execution prevention settings
      1. Click Start, Control Panel, then double-click System.
      2. Click the Advanced tab. In the Performance section, then click on Settings.
      3. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
      4. Click on Turn on Data Execution Prevention for essential Windows programs and services only to select the OptIn policy.
      5. Click on Turn on Data Execution Prevention for all programs and services except those I select to select the OptOut policy.
      6. If you selected the OptOut policy, click Add and add the applications you do not want to use data execution prevention with.

        Hello,

        I tried to do this manipulation but I don't have this option:

        Click on Enable Data Execution Prevention for Windows programs and services only to select the OptIn strategy.

        Everything is checked in "let Windows choose the best configuration."

        Thank you in advance if you can help me because I can no longer print reminders.

      @timpany: thank you very much for this tip! I just encountered the same problem when reinstalling my old version of ciel compta on a new computer! I simply added the wk program to the exception list and it starts up!!! Awesome!!
      Thanks again, I spent a lot of time with this issue.
