Convert a veg file to mp4 file

Hello,

I have a little problem. I made a video edit on Sony Vega Pro 0.9, and after finishing it in 4 hours, I tried to post it on YouTube, but a message tells me that it’s impossible because my video is a Veg file, while an mp4 file is required. So, I went back to the software to convert my video, but after long minutes of waiting, the progress bar is still at 0%, indicating an approximate time of 09:40:07. It only keeps increasing, and the bar isn't filling up. When I try to cancel, it won't let me cancel, and I can't close the software. I really care about this video, I absolutely want to post it on YouTube especially since it's the trial version, and I only have 29 days left to find a solution. I tried converting it with Quick Media Converter, but I got an error message.

So, please, help me find a solution... I really care about this video...

Thank you in advance.

Best regards, Alicia.

Instead of saving it as .VEG or .MP4, save it as WMV in 720p on Sony Vegas (you render as) which is the most practical for YouTube!
