.unable to read .nbf file

Hello,

I have a DVD of a backup I made on my old ACER laptop (which is now dead), with a large file in .nbf format.
I did some research online, so I downloaded NTI CD and DVD Maker 7 and NTI Backup Now 5 on my new PARCKARD BELL laptop, but it's impossible to read what I backed up with these software (even though it's one of the two, I don't remember which one, in an earlier version, that created this nbf file); the NBF format seems strange to them (how ironic...).
Can someone help me?? I'm using Vista.

    NBF files are Nokia files, aren't they...?

    If that's the case, you need the dedicated Nokia application that allows you to read this type of file..

      No, these are not Nokia files, it’s the NTI software that was integrated into my ACER that generated this BNF extension from my files, which, if I remember correctly, are photos and Word or Excel documents... There you go... Thank you.

      So they are not NBF files as mentioned in your question.
