Hello,
I recently acquired this multifunction printer (printer, photocopier, scanner) which is the Canon PIXMA MP495
(Here is the reference: http://www.canon.fr/For_Home/Product_Finder/Multifunctionals/Inkjet/PIXMA_MP495/)
I installed it and set it up on the network.
To print remotely (via wifi) everything works perfectly.
For photocopying, it also works without any problems.
Unfortunately, I need to scan documents and that’s where the trouble starts!
When I installed the printer, I also installed the software that came with it. Today, I would like to use it to scan documents but I can’t seem to find or launch the so-called software.
I have tried several manipulations (placing my document and pressing the "Scan" button, with no results)
There is no section "Scan a document" in the user manual (now that’s really shameful!), no explanation in the site’s FAQ, no tutorial videos on YouTube, and a Google search yields nothing. In short, I'm in a tight spot!
So I'm completely lost, if a kind soul could come to my rescue, if someone uses this machine and knows how to scan, I would be grateful!
Best regards,
Matt'
