Internet connection blocked on identification

Hello,
I've been having an issue for some time now that when I start my PC, the internet connection takes a long time to establish, but more importantly, the connection stays on the status "identifying."
The only way for me to connect to the web is to right-click on the connection animation and click on "diagnose and repair," then click on "restart DHCP client service."
Is there a way to get internet connection without going through this process?
Thank you. Just so you know, I have a Freebox configured in router mode with DHCP enabled and permanent DHCP leases.
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 9.0.1

Re-Re-Re-Hello.
Problem solved all by myself, but if anyone else has the same problem one day, here’s what I did:
Click on Start and then type, in the input box, the command: Services.msc
Press Enter
In the list of services (in alphabetical order), you need to set the DHCP Client service to automatic mode.
To do this, right-click on: DHCP Client, and choose from the menu: Startup type, the mode: automatic. Then press the button: Apply, and then restart your computer.
And voilà, the connection becomes instant and automatic again.
