Hello,
My TV won't turn on anymore. The blue standby light turns on for 4 seconds, then goes off for 1 second, then turns back on for 4 seconds, and so on...
At first, it turned on pretty quickly, but it started taking longer and longer, until it finally wouldn't turn on at all.
I found a trick, not great I admit, that allows me to turn it on, but each time it's a hassle: I took off the back panel. With the TV unplugged, on the upper right side of the board (not the power board), I remove the white connector with two rows that contains thirty or more wires going up to the screen). I then plug in the TV. The screen lights up, but without an image, I can hear the sound from the TV channel. I reattach the connector and, miracle, it works. If I turn off the TV, I have to do the same maneuver to turn it back on.
Could a "pro" help me, tell me if there are any components to change, and which ones? I know my request is demanding, and I'm not a specialist, but I don't have much money and your help would be really appreciated.

  Hello, I have the same problem. I changed the 3 capacitors 1000µF (16) V (105) OC(m), problem solved.

Hello, check the connections, the capacitors... but you need a minimum of knowledge and tools: multimeter + precision soldering tool, and you need to know how to use these tools while respecting basic safety rules regarding electricity.
I want to draw your attention to the fact that connector bars do not like to be plugged and unplugged; you risk burning something and making the situation worse.
Another risk, and this is very serious: you stand to lose a lot by tinkering with your TV, especially when it's plugged into the power outlet; you are at risk of electric shock!!!!!!!!!
Unplug your TV, close the back panel, head to customer service, and request a quote.

  Thank you for your response, it's pretty much what I would have said if I wanted to say something without answering the one question asked, the cherry on top being the customer service. Goodness, I hadn't thought I could take it to customer service!
  My question is still focused: what components would need to be changed?
  I would like to come across a good specialist who knows this occasional issue well and may have solved it (on this model or on an equivalent xxfe9234) and who could give me the necessary information.

  No one will give you a better answer!!!!! In fact, so far, no one else has done so, rightly.....
  I don't have a crystal ball, and if the repair service didn't need to see the devices to be repaired to make a diagnosis, we would know it....
  Furthermore, since you clearly have no knowledge of electronics, you won't be able to do anything, not even test the power supply: which would be the first thing to do as your TV is in 'safety' mode
  That’s why the repair service is the best solution
  The repair won't happen on its own via the internet: when you are sick, the doctor doesn't make a diagnosis over the phone; they see you in consultation, it's the same for your TV
  I would like to clarify that we are volunteers !!!!!!..... we are giving you our time !!!!!!
  If the only answer you want to hear is: it's the 1000uF, 100V electrolytic capacitor located to the right of the resistor situated to the left of the green wire ... fine.... you would then be well advanced!
  The only solution: change your TV or repair service!

  As I mentioned, I know my request is demanding, but I still think it’s possible to get a more targeted response.
  The purpose of forums like this one is precisely to avoid going to customer service at the slightest malfunction. You mention doctors, but have you never gone to the pharmacy instead of always going to the doctor?
  As for the crystal ball, it's reserved for those who don't know but think they do. I'm not addressing them.
  By the way, what are your "!!!!!"? Do you believe I'm not aware that I'm dealing with volunteers (of which I am one), even if I'm sure some of them are worth more than certain professionals? Why do you say, "we give you our time!!!!!!"? What is this pseudo-moral lesson? Have I been impolite or incorrect in my request? You use "we" to mean "I" (which gives it more weight); you must be the person responsible for this forum, or at least one of the main players. But "of your time": reread my last sentence of thanks regarding "your time."
  Finally, you mention, "if the only response you want to hear is... ...". YES!!! That's exactly the answer I'm still hoping to get, the one that would answer the one and only question I asked. The one that has already been answered but for different models! And to respond to your comment, yes, I would be "extremely" better off. Fortunately, I have my brother who has some electronics skills; not enough to pinpoint the exact fault, but enough to work on an electronic circuit, test the power supply, check the solder joints, the contacts (which he did), and of course also enough to change a few components if needed. But which components???
  I will therefore wait further and see if I get a response. But I promise you one thing, if no volunteer can answer my question like this, distantly, over the internet, as if by magic, THEN yes, I will follow your advice and go to customer service to see a "pro."
