Hello,
I have a problem with my Livebox for several months: When I connect it to a phone socket (as well as to power), it starts up and then the red @ light blinks quickly (5 times a second). When I go to the default gateway (192.168.1.1), I get an error message: ADSL line not synchronized. I called customer service, and they gave me the FTI/ username and password again, but it's still the same. They told me they could send a technician, but I would like to know first what this technician will do that customer service hasn't done, considering I've obviously tried restarting the Livebox (even a reset).
I have already tried changing the filter, I don't use an extension, and the problem persists even if no device is connected to a phone socket.
My phones work very well (so my line is operational?)
I should mention that I live in an old house. Maybe the cables are the issue?
Thank you in advance for your responses.

I think I have found the solution :(
While disassembling my phone sockets, I realized that 2 to 3 wires were missing in each socket. The phone can therefore work, but not ADSL.
I will have to change the sockets, so an electrician will have to do that :/
The technician will be useless.
I am therefore marking this as resolved..

The wires are the same for the phone and the ADSL, your problem isn't there
If a phone works, with a filter the ADSL should work too.
You need to first have the line checked by France Telecom, then the connection to the DSLAM
If everything is fine, have the Livebox replaced
