Printer cartridge issue.

Hello,
I bought 2 cartridges (color/black) for HP Photosmart C4780 a few days ago
when I insert them, it tells me for the black cartridge << Cartridge problem. >> So I would like to know if you could advise me on any steps to resolve this! Thank you in advance!

PS: I have already tried reinstalling the driver and unplugging & replugging the power cord

Configuration: Cross the bridge, and you will cross the river
Configuration: Windows Vista / Gooooogle Chrome

    Hi,
    Does your cartridge fit in normally, or did you have to force it to click in?
    Did you remove the plastic (I believe it’s orange) from the ink surface?
