Hello,

I have a problem with my ADVENT 7048 laptop. I can't type the letters "UIOPJKLM" on a document or an internet window, for example, without simultaneously pressing the "Fn" key (at the bottom left of the keyboard). If I don't press the "Fn" key, numbers appear:

U becomes 4
I becomes 5
O becomes 6
P becomes (none) no letter/number/symbol
J becomes 1
K becomes 2
L becomes 3
M becomes 0

Just to clarify: I have a QWERTY keyboard (PC purchased in London)

THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP

I encountered the same problem with my HP laptop, so I worked with the Windows on-screen keyboard and when I saw this forum, I solved it:
    • U became 4
    • I became 5
    • O became 6
    • P became (none) no letter/number/symbol)
    • J became 1
    • K became 2
    • L became 3
    • M became 0

On my PC, I pressed both Fn + Num Lock keys at the same time, so a big thanks to WESTINDIENNE and to all the participants of this forum!

EDIT: On some devices (Acer, Samsung), you need to press Fn + F11.
