My Casio isn't displaying powers of 10 anymore!

Hello,

I don't understand why, but when I perform calculations involving powers of 10 on my calculator (a Casio Graph 35+), it no longer responds in powers of 10 but in whole numbers...
I really need it to go back to how it was before because I have reports to prepare, and I absolutely need to use my calculator!
HELP!
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

    On your calculator, type:
    -Shift + Menu
    -scroll down to "Display"
    -Press F2 (Sci)
-then choose the number of digits you want after the decimal point (I recommend between 4 and 6)
    25

    Hello,

so be careful with Captain Chunk's method, the use of "sci" can be misleading.

It's better to use Norm instead of Sci.

So I don't remember which corresponds to which notation, but
    norm1: gives results like 0.000029
    norm2: gives results like 2.9 * 10^-5,
or the other way around, well you test and you’ll see

Indeed, the advantage of Norm is that it only shows you the x.xxx *10^y notation when the results are large or close to 0.
Whereas with Sci, if you do 2+2, you will get 2.00*10^1 or something like that for simple calculations, which is:
    - annoying because it confuses you with the numbers.
    - misleading if you are careful about the significant figures of your result.

    It's true that it's annoying...
I don't understand anything about my calculator anyway, I'll check with my teacher tomorrow, but thank you for your help!

    Hello everyone!
    Problem with Casio 25+
My results are all displayed in power. How do I remove this mode? Thanks!

You press SHIFT + MENU, then you look for the line where you have the option "Sci".
You set it to Norm 1 or 2 (both are correct).

Hello everyone, I recommend Norm1 which will give the exact result in powers of 10 if necessary.
    Brief summary: (2.5x10^-3)-(0.25x10^-3) will give:
    Norm1 : = 2.25x10^-3
    Norm2 : = 0.00225
    Sci6 : = 2.25000x10^-3 (number of significant figures)
    Fix6 : = 0.002250 (number of significant figures)

In short, Norm1 and 2 remove unnecessary zeros, while Sci and Fix specify the desired number of figures determined by you. Norm1 and Sci use powers of 10 while Norm2 and Fix keep the decimal form without powers of 10.

    (Access all this: Shift > Menu(Set up) > Display > F1-F2-F3-F4)

It should be noted that the F4 key on Display is used to replace powers of ten with units, such as m for milli, n for nano, etc.

I tried norm1 and norm2 and I get the same result, while with Captain Chunk's method I get a result like 9.77*10^6.

    Hello,

I have the same issue with my calculator, and I have done what you suggested but to no avail. It doesn’t work; it won't display the powers in the results. If someone could help me, please, thank you.
