Hello,
What do you think of the site
http://www.topengo.fr/

It's a recharge site, I've already recharged and haven't had any issues so far. I was just wondering about becoming a premium customer
http://www.topengo.fr/avantages-premium

We can accumulate points over time from purchases and thus earn a recharge in the long run if I understood correctly. Except that you have to send them identity papers and such... What do you think, is it a good deal?
Thanks in advance and happy new year 2012.

Yes, I was approached on Facebook by a "friend" who asked me to pay for a mobile recharge through this site. I called my buddy, who was actually just sleeping in his bed!!! This site is a total scam!!!!

The scam is happening on Facebook, not on the site in question. We shouldn't mix everything up.

Yes, indeed I have had the experience of interacting with a fake account on Facebook marketplace that directed me to (hacked PayPal) and debited me from the Alenda Top Engo app via a phone call.

Be very vigilant!!

Did I make the same mistake with the phone call you got refunded?

There are scammers on Facebook who ask you to go to this site to pay for a recharge for their phone. They impersonate one of your friends and pretend to be them, be careful!!!

Hello _this just happened to me, I'm freaking out, I wanted to help a friend on Facebook to recharge her Orange phone but her account had been hacked... I blocked my credit card but I'm worried about upcoming charges.. if it's 35 it’s fine, but do you think the fraud stops at the recharge or do they hack the bank account afterwards????? Thanks for your response, I'm going to the police later..

Hello,

We have indeed noticed that some of our customers have fallen victim, via Facebook, to malicious practices aimed at encouraging them to purchase phone top-ups on our site.

Indeed, some individuals have managed to impersonate Facebook accounts. They pose as your friends and ask you to buy them a mobile top-up on www.topengo.fr to help them out and to send them the electronic top-up voucher.

If you receive such a request, please be extremely vigilant! We advise you to verify the identity of your interlocutor before proceeding and to deliver the voucher only to your email address.

Furthermore, all transactions made on our site pass through a secure payment platform. As long as you do not share your bank details, they cannot be used in any way.

Our customer service is available for any further information.

MoinsunclientTopengo: you shouldn't obfuscate the issue by talking about Facebook. Most of them were scammed directly on your site without being encouraged by anyone!

I ordered for the first time, no problem. Now I ordered again and they deducted my money even though they told me during the order that they couldn't proceed with it, but the 10 euros were deducted without me getting the credit.

One of my contacts on Facebook, a friend, reached out to me with this message:

"I'm a bit short on cash and I need to contact my banker urgently
to get some liquid cash on me, and I need you to get me a phone recharge
I will pay you back tonight and double it if
you want, okay? But I really need your help right now"

She invited me to pay for this recharge on this site: www.topengo.fr.

I found that very suspicious since I hadn't seen this person in a long time. So before doing that, I called her directly and she confessed that her Facebook account had been hacked and asked me to block her as soon as possible and not to pay for this so-called recharge on that site!!!

Hoping to help by sharing my testimony :-)

I just experienced the same thing except I crashed into the wall!!
So my problem is that I did the online process twice which failed... and then I went to the tobacco shop!
So if I was only charged 25 euros, it’s not a big deal, but I’m worried that they might have kept my card details from the attempts online!!!

Yes, that's what I'm afraid of too, mily94. It's one thing to hold onto 25, but if they keep them, it's tough.

Good evening,
I made a payment on Topengo for a €10 SFR recharge. But I haven't received any confirmation email or recharge. I'm afraid they may have kept my bank details.
I don't know what to do?!!!! Please help me!

If it was through the Facebook scam... (recharging for a "friend" who had their account hacked)... Then I advise you to block your card because I was charged for my 2 attempts while I was getting a blank page!
Moreover, there is no possible recourse afterwards because it was you who gave your information (and not a third party, your card was not stolen...)

Yes, exactly, except that I bought the refill myself. But I just spoke to "customer service" who confirmed that my payment has been processed and it’s possible that there’s a bug on the server side.
It hasn’t even been 3 weeks since I opposed my card due to a scam.
I can’t bear the thought of going back to my bank AGAIN to block my card... What a disaster!!!!
