Hello,
I just acquired a BlackBerry Curve 9300 (I know I’m late) and I have no idea how to set it up to access the internet via Wi-Fi. I connect to the Wi-Fi correctly, but when I open an app or the browser, it says “Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. If the problem persists, contact your service provider.” So I would like to know how to perform the following operation (BB 8520) on a BB 9300. Thanks in advance
Operation in question:
- Go to the menu -> "Options" -> "Advanced Options" -> "Browser".
- Then configure the "Default Browser Configuration": replace "Orange World" with "Public Wi-Fi Browser"
- Save.
On the home screen:
- To browse the internet, just click on the browser, in the browser options -> general properties -> I unchecked the switch to WAP network.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 535.2

No one to help here!
Problem solved, I updated the device; for those who might encounter the same issue as me.
Good luck.-
Hello
Here are the different steps to configure your internet settings on a BlackBerry 9300 Curve:
options
then advanced options (or Terminal then advanced system settings)
then TCP IP
then enable APN
note the settings for your country
e.g.: APN: internet.fr
APN username: internet
APN password: internet
Press MENU (in the middle) and save
Restart your phone by removing the battery
That's it! You're ready to surf now!
