Typing delay on screen...

Question

Hello, when I type on my keyboard, the letters appear on the screen with a slight delay sometimes. What could this be due to? I have done a complete disk cleanup to eliminate bulky and unnecessary files, but the issue persists. Thank you for your responses. Kerandal

Hello, it may be due to your computer's lack of RAM. Or also the refresh rate of your screen, typically 60 hertz is a good frequency. To check this on XP: right-click on your desktop, "properties," "settings," "advanced," "display." There’s nothing stopping you from trying a higher frequency.

Thank you for your response. The screen frequency is indeed 60 Hz and the issue appeared without me changing anything. I took the computer to a repair shop where they found nothing; the issue did not manifest there. I unplugged all peripherals: screen, keyboard, printer, organizer, audio, etc., and monitored when the issue appeared. To my surprise, once everything was reconnected, the issue disappeared. For the past 15 days, the computer has been working fine, but I still don't understand what happened, and neither does the repair shop. Connectivity problem? It's frustrating when you don't understand... MD
