Oracle listener not starting

Hello,

I installed Oracle 9.2.0.1 and at the same time I created a database.

When I turn on the computer, I start the listener and then the database service. While I'm opening the database service, the listener service runs.
I stop the database service and reopen the listener; I get the following error message (the listener does not start):

The Oracle service OraHome92TNSListener on Local Computer started then stopped. Some services may stop automatically if they have no tasks to perform, for example, the alert service and performance logs.

Knowing that I have already installed the same version of Oracle before and used it.

Is it possible that the installation copy of Oracle is not good? Is it due to the installation of more recent versions in the meantime (10g)?

Thank you in advance for your response.

Best regards,

Samia

I have exactly the same problem.
I can't start the Listener service.

Has anyone managed to resolve this issue?
