PDF MERGE: issue dimension/display

Solved

Hello,

I have 2 PDF files that, when opened independently of each other, display normally in Adobe Reader (readable display/normal filling of the display space and on-screen reading) -
- the 1st file shows a display at 39%
- the 2nd file shows a display at 96%
When consulting these 2 files, there is no difference in the size of the image (I assume Adobe chooses its percentage of reduction to allow for normal and correct reading and display).

However: I want to merge these 2 PDF files.
but the output "unique/merged" file makes it so that "the view" of the pages corresponding to the 1st file are huge, while the pages of the second file are "normal"!

How can I standardize the size of my unique PDF, so that all my pages are displayed/visible normally?

PS: I have tried merging with PDFCreator and PDFSam-win, and the result is the same!

Thank you for your ideas and responses.

ok
I think I found the solution...
- merge all pages together despite the differences in format, so that it forms a single file.
- and reprint it via your virtual printer (PDF Creator for example) by setting it up like this:
1/ A4 format (or whatever you want...)
2/ (and this is the most important part: scaling: fit to the printable area.
3/ print it and discover your new file.

heh heh heh ;)
a+++++++++++++++
keep me updated anyway and don't forget to mark it as resolved :)

take each day as it comes...

small note:
if you print without selecting "fit to print area," it will also work except that the printer will create white space around smaller photos and may only print part of larger photos that exceed the print size.
On the contrary, if you select fit to print area, the photos will be enlarged for those smaller than the print size and reduced for those larger than the print size;
in any case, they will be resized!
see you later
