Hello,
I know this topic has been covered a good hundred times, but after days of searching the net, I still don't have TNT channels.
Let me explain my problem; if someone can help me without giving me links I've surely seen....
I currently have a satellite dish pointed at Hotbird and a TNT receiver, and I can pick up channels 1 to 6 except for channel 4.
I want to get more TNT channels, so I got a TNT rooftop antenna (which was given to me), it works as I tried it on another TV.
After connecting it, my TV shows a blue screen, I do a channel search on all my TV inputs, that is to say sat1, AV2, AV3, and channel 1, but found nothing.
What should I do?
My receiver is an Optex 9451
and my TV is a Sony Trinitron.

It's partly normal because you're providing incorrect information...
If you have an Optex 9451 decoder, it means you're still on analog satellite and not on Hot Bird but on Atlantic Bird 3... it's far from being the same thing..
To benefit from the 19 TNT channels on AB 3, you must have a satellite terminal labeled FRANSAT (it's written on it, and nothing else) and it is indeed satellite TV through your dish.
Then, does your Sony television have a built-in TNT tuner or is it properly connected to an external TNT adapter to receive Digital Terrestrial Television = TNT via a rooftop antenna?
For Fransat, just connect it to a TV SCART socket and choose the corresponding AV input..
I won't go back to Fransat, there are already pages and pages on this free service... -
