Thunderbird Send a list in blind carbon copy

Hello,

For my work, I need to send letters to lists containing hundreds of people. I wanted to send them by clicking on "bcc" and entering the list name. It works, but the problem is that it shows "to: unknown recipients" for the people receiving the email. I would like the person to see their email only and not the others or "unknown recipients."

I've read on forums about showing the contacts bar and selecting recipients, then clicking at the bottom to add them in bcc, but how can I put this delicately: I have several lists of hundreds of people, and I don't always send to everyone, so that's not feasible :/

Isn't there a way to choose the list I want and have the recipient see just their address??

Thanks in advance.

Oh yes, you're right... I haven't had the issue since I switched to a professional emailing solution. Now I feel like we're hitting the limits of conventional messaging solutions.

    Hello,

you just need to insert the list in the recipient field, and instead of "To", you should select "Bcc".

I used it for several months without any issues.

    Hello,
I had the same problem. I made a small change.
I created a new folder in the Local Folders directory, which I named Sent.
Then in account settings, under copies and folders, I checked the box for other folders and selected the directory that is now in local folders and........ it works
    keep me posted

...in BCC, as its name indicates, the recipients will be hidden and will not know the identity of the others, which is the purpose.

So I don't really see how you could make the name of the recipient appear (in BCC) without it being visible to others... tough, tough...!!!

I don't think I quite understand the question. Here’s what I gather: you want to send an email and keep the list hidden. But the recipient should see their own address?
      Am I right? :)
Normally, my method works for that.
