In response regarding the total control remote:

the operation is very similar to the One for All remotes for which you can easily download the manual from their website oneforall-int.com

1 - press the button for the desired device (TV, VCR, DVD, AUX,...)
2 - press and hold the setup button. the LED blinks 2 times
3 - enter the code 991. the LED blinks 2 times
4 - point the remote control towards the device
5 - alternately press the + button (to change channels) and the standby button
6 - when the device goes into standby, press and hold SETUP, the LED blinks 2 times and the code is saved.

do not hesitate to press + and standby up to 200 times.

to note the code found by the remote control:
1 - press the button for the desired device (TV, VCR, DVD, AUX,...)
2 - press and hold the setup button. the LED blinks 2 times
3 - enter the code 990. the LED blinks 2 times
4 - successively press the keys 1-2-3 and 4 on the remote and note each time the number of blinks (from 0 to 9) of the LED to reconstruct the device code.

just for your information jmp59, you'll see that the manual you linked doesn’t quite match what I wrote. Indeed, if you try to set the remote by pressing TV in the automatic search instead of +, it will never work if you have the same remote as I do. Moreover, the power button is used to put the device in standby, so it’s called the standby button...

Indeed, the difference between + and TV had escaped me.

But your remote seems to be an All for One, which, as you say, has very similar functionality; that doesn’t mean it’s identical in every way.

As for Standby/Power, what I wanted to clarify is that the indication on the button is Power. Its functions vary depending on the model of the TV, not the remote. Depending on the case, it either functions for standby and wake-up, or it only serves for standby; the wake-up function is then performed by pressing a numeric button.

As for resentment, what resentment? We're trying to get clarity. For me, it doesn't go beyond that.

Hello, does anyone know how to enter the code for my "total control" universal remote? And by the way, if anyone knows how to deal with the fact that my little one-year-old put our Neuf box remote in the fishbowl and I only noticed it at least an hour later...
