How to remove Windows Boot Manager?

Hello,
I recently installed Windows 7 on my PC in addition to the already installed Windows XP. The latter was installed on a different partition (E:\) than WinXP (which is on C:\). The installation of Win7 resulted in the appearance of a mini-program at startup: Windows Boot Manager (WBM). After formatting the partition containing Win7, I thought that WBM would disappear with it, which turned out to be false. Indeed, at startup, I was still given the option to choose between WinXP and Win7 (which no longer existed).
After a mistaken action, I deleted a folder named BOOT and a file named BOOT.BAK on C:\. After rebooting, WBM executed and informed me that a necessary boot file was missing and that it was impossible to start, suggesting that I repair Win7 and only offering to restart in the meantime. Having another XP CD, I installed it on E:\ and after rebooting, WBM disappeared and now I am presented with 3 options: the 2 installed WinXPs and an "unrecognized operating system"
I ask you to help me remove WBM or this "unrecognized operating system" so that I can start Windows XP normally without having to choose each time. Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows XP / Google Chrome

The WBM of Seven consists of a small partition of 100 MB at the very beginning of the hard drive.
You could go into disk management to check if it is still present.
There’s a chance that the installation of the two XP versions has messed it up; there’s only a trace left in the boot.ini file of the XP on C: (to check, go to folder options/show hidden files and system files) at the root of C: open the boot.ini with Notepad and delete the references to Seven and the second XP.

Here is an example of boot.ini
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect

Thank you,
the installation of the 2 XP did not crash the WBM :(
However, I noticed a folder named BOOT and a multitude of files containing "boot..." in their names.
When I open the Boot.ini file, there is this:

;
;Warning: Boot.ini is used on Windows XP and earlier operating systems.
;Warning: Use BCDEDIT.exe to modify Windows Vista boot options.
;
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN /FASTDETECT
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /FASTDETECT /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN
c:\ ="Operating system not identified on drive C."

You can modify this boot.ini file using Notepad
save the file as boot.bak (as a backup) and then delete c: unknown system .....
save and restart

I tried but it didn't work, so to make it faster, I formatted everything! Thank you very much for your help.
I haven't been able to connect since because my Wi-Fi key was down.
