Hello,
My msn was working fine until suddenly it crashed and when I tried to restart it it said
We were unable to connect you to Windows Live Messenger
before you can connect to messenger, you must:
'Verify your account' <verifying your account is a link that logs me into msn and then I log in perfectly
here is the error code 80048823
My msn is a regular address (hotmail.com) and it dates back to 2002
I have WLM 2011
Ps: this is not the first time
If someone knew what was happening and a way to fix it

To resolve your issue, please follow these steps:
1. Visit the following site http://account.live.com.
2. Click on `Sign in with a different email account'
3. Enter your Windows Live ID email address that you normally use along with your password.
4. Click on `Sign in'.
5. You will see a series of numbers and letters to enter. Enter the series correctly, then click on `Sign in' to unlock your email account.
6. If that doesn't work, try resetting your password. To do this, follow these steps:
a. Go to the following site: http://account.live.com.
b. Click on `Sign in with a different email account'.
c. Enter your username and click on `Forgot password'.
d. Follow the steps in the wizard to reset your password.
e. If you need assistance redefining your password because you don’t remember your secret question, the answer to your question, or your alternate address, please contact Windows Live ID support. To do this, visit the following site and select Windows Live ID:

f. After successfully redefining your password, follow the next steps to update your settings.
