Canon MG 5150: printing issue

Hello, I have a Canon MG 5150 that prints all colors except black, even though the cartridges are new, and the machine is new as well! What should I do before I lose my mind? A page printed in Word in black comes out blank!!!

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

    I just bought this printer too (Canon PIXMA 5150) and I have the same problem, when I print text the page comes out blank!
    Did you find a solution?

      If you have this printer and are experiencing a printing defect (All or nothing), check the print head (Out of service Price of a new printer), below the cartridges. I have the same combination printer for 2 days and the issues start with crooked printing despite adjusting the head position (Risk of returning to the supplier). Did you have any issues with yours in the first days? Thank you for your response.

      Hello!
      My printer is new too. I bought it at the beginning of December and at first, everything was going very well. Now, it's telling me that it's out of paper even though I'm putting it everywhere!!!! I'm starting to lose it because I'm wasting time and with exams going on, I need to print. Any suggestions please? Thank you very much :-)
