Sata II Transfer Speed

Hello,

I'd like to have a little idea of the speed at which you transfer between two internal SATA 2 hard drives.

Personally, between a 1.5TB 7200RPM Seagate and a 2TB 5400RPM Western Digital, I average around 130MB/s and peak at 400MB/s (it's not a joke).
I feel like I have very good speeds, but I don't know, is that just an impression?

Do you also have similar speeds?

Yet my setup is a bit outdated: Asus P5K Core 2 Duo E4400, 4GB DDR2 800MHz HD5750.

"I usually run at 130 MB/s and peak at 400 MB/s (it's not a joke).
130 MB/s I believe you: that's a very good HDD.
But 400 MB/s: impossible because:
* SSDs don't perform better for now (355 MB/s max in SATA III, 285 in SATA II)
* It's a Windows bug when you copy certain files: it will show you fanciful speeds for a short moment

Moreover, 400MB/s is nearly 100MB/s more than the maximum speed of SATA 2...
