Xbox 360 S. CD drive won't open!

Same for me!!! This story is crazy, I buy the new XBOX 360 slim, I do the initial basic settings and when I try to open the compartment to insert a game, it doesn't open!!!
The first thing I do is check that everything is properly plugged in, and indeed everything is fine on that side.
Then I look at the manual to understand and find a solution to the problem.
As indicated for this kind of issue, I insert a paperclip into the hole located above the console, between the fans, just above the disc compartment, in order to open it!
And indeed it opens manually, but it doesn't solve the problem because it's still not working!!!
Finally, I wanted to see if the drive was functioning, so I manually open the compartment, put in the game, close it (still manually) and then.....nothing...it doesn't even read the games!!!!!!!
So I go to the store to exchange it, and they tell me that once the console leaves their store, it's no longer their problem, but Microsoft's!!! Knowing that I have to make a request online, wait to receive a label, prepare the box, pack the console, and wait around 2-3 weeks!!!!
To finish, I just want to say that they're really messing with us!!!
Buying a product that costs 250 euros and having no follow-up in the days that follow is serious!!
For me, Microsoft is done.

In the Xbox 360 installation manual, it says that the removable front panel may be misaligned or poorly connected...
Also check that all electrical cables are properly connected... ok

It was the same for me, so my father tried to open it the hard way and he succeeded... in blowing up the CD player.

In France, for almost any purchase, the law states that you have 14 days to return a product to the store if the product does not suit you! If you've just bought the Xbox, the seller is obligated to take it back, no matter the brand; in this case, it's not Microsoft that is responsible!! How you get screwed, I can tell you that he would have taken back the Xbox!! He has no choice!!

Yet it's well aligned and too bad, I will send it to customer service even though I've had it for less than 2 hours.
