Hello, I recently had issues with my PC regarding the error 0xc000007b. My computer is about a month and a half old, so it's not old. I wanted to use recovery to reset everything, but again:
Recovery Management.exe - Application Error
The application failed to start correctly (0xc000007b).
Click OK to close the application.
I am having a hard time finding a solution to this. I did some research online, and I saw that this happened on Windows XP, but I'm on Seven. However, I recently tried to install XP because I don't really like W7; I'm surprised but you can see that the system configuration of "How it works" indicates Windows XP
at the bottom of the message, even though I didn't manage to install it due to what? STOP:0xc000007b
I am currently doing a thorough scan of my PC with Avast. So far, it has no infected files, I will edit the message if there is one.
So, I wanted to know if anyone has ever had this problem and I'm here to ask for help to fix this error that I don't understand.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and Happy New Year 2011.
Configuration: Windows XP / Safari 533.19.4

Hello guys
I've had this problem a long time ago and I know the solution (download the x64 version if you have a 64-bit Windows):
I hope this helps you even 5 years later!!!!!!!!!!

- Download and install Microsoft .Net Framework
- Download and install the C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013

Ultimately, my brother found the solution, which was to place the .dll not only in the C:\Windows\System32 folder but also in C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

Thank you, I haven't tested it, but the problem probably comes from there since Direct X is only for games and the error for me is on Visual Studio 10.0, so it can only come from the Framework that must have been installed incorrectly.

I solved the problem: reinstall or repair Visual C++ 2013 x64 or x86.
