Question

Hello, yesterday after a day of work on my PC (Windows 7), in the evening wanting to use it again, I turned it on and just after the Windows startup page a blue screen appeared, then my PC started the Windows startup repair tool which of course doesn't work...
It tells me that it can't fix it and writes this below:

If someone could help me it would save my life as I would lose a lot of work and data...

Good evening, I had this problem after updating the "EFI" BIOS on my MSI Intel Sandy Bridge H65 MA-E45 motherboard...
..Windows 7 wouldn't boot anymore...MSI asked me to check the hard drive mode in the BIOS: AHCI, IDE, or RAID...The mode was "IDE" when it should have been "AHCI"...And after the correct configuration, Windows booted up fine.... If this can help..!

open a prompt by starting and then pressing the F8 key during startup.

Type the following commands consecutively:

BootRec /RebuildBcd
BootRec /fixmbr
BootRec /fixboot

Hello,
I had the same problem, same errors...
After a few attempts to restart with repair or safe mode, I succeeded by doing:
F8 at "startup", choosing "start using the last successful configuration"; it worked.

Follow-up question: for several months, I have a Windows 7 update attempt that fails, resulting in the same update attempt at every shutdown...without success. I haven't found a solution:
configuration W7 + 64 bits.

Hello, I just had the same problem (startuprepairoffline), I managed to get everything back to normal, how? Click on the Start menu
Click on Run
Type msconfig
Click on the OK button

Then click on Startup and disable everything, then check only your antivirus and anti-malware and firewall... then click on apply and OK and restart the computer, for me it worked, there were software deleted from my PC that were checked to start on boot. There you go, I hope this helps you...

It's a long process, I have to reinstall all the software, but it's radical - it also allows me to completely eliminate unnecessary programs; the most tedious part is having to request activation keys again. One program told me that I had exhausted my rights - that is, 6 activations, or 2 per PC, and I had to buy an upgrade - it’s about Hérédis.
