Hard disk startup issue Closed

Question

Hello,

Here it is. I have a little problem since last night when I came back from my trip. I turn on my computer normally, I start to scan with my antivirus (just in case) when suddenly, the computer starts making a strange noise (like a spring that keeps popping). And on the screen, everything is bugged except for the mouse.

So I decide to restart the computer, and there, it shows me the following message:

Boot Device Not Found

Please install an operating system on your hard disk.

Hard Disk - (3F0)

Then it offers me to run diagnostics. I run them, but for the Hard Disk, it writes: "Hard Disk Not Exist." While the computer was working normally just 5 minutes ago.
Then, I ran diagnostics under BIOS, and it also says: Hard Disk Not Exist.

My computer is an HP Pavilion dv5 Notebook PC

The processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) Core 2 Duo CPU

I am running Vista.

Please help me. Thank you.

P.S: If there are any steps to follow, please explain them to me in detail, I'm not a computer pro. Thank you.

So, as soon as I turn on my laptop, I have a black screen with the following error message:

Boot device not found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk.
Hard disk (3F0)
F2 system diagnostics

Hello...

The first thing to do is to turn on your PC, unplug the HDD, and plug it back in... it might have shifted a bit in its connector...

Well, if the BIOS doesn't see it, it's unlikely that Windows will find it, since Windows is supposed to be on the hard drive that doesn't appear...

Not wrong about the warranty, although if it's a laptop, the HDD cover is often accessible without tearing a security tab...
But if it's under warranty, of course, depending on where you bought it.....
You can access the BIOS, try resetting it to "default" settings....

Dismantle the cache of your hard drive, remove it and put it back in place, it may have disconnected a bit from its connector... let me know! --

The HDD is the hard drive, it is usually under a cover secured by 2 or 3 screws under the laptop...
Does it really work? Yes, it can, but that's not the only cause of failure... it doesn't hurt to take a look! --

At startup, there is a total black screen with a blinking white dash; it's impossible to boot normally, and it says "boot verification failed" status = failure - replace hard drive 1. Is there any way to do something without changing the hard drive? Thank you for your help.
