Hello,

I just replaced the lamp in my Toshiba TDP-S35 projector, but I can't seem to reset the lamp counter. I have thoroughly gone through the menu, without success!

Could you help me, knowing that the lamp has only been working temporarily since its replacement? Is this malfunction due to the fact that the counter has not yet been reset?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards.

Hello, in my opinion, this is where the problem lies (life counter lamp), consult Toshiba
it's quite technical, but doable

Check with the manufacturer; otherwise, you’re searching blindly and may not find it! This software is the security light.

That's what I'm going to do. I hope I'll eventually find it. In any case, thank you for your answers.

Hello,

I finally managed to reset the lamp counter. I had to press the On/Standby, Menu, and Input buttons simultaneously for a few seconds while plugging in the power cord at the same time.

Thank you for your help.

Hello, I have the same problem. I would like to reset the counter to zero on my Toshiba TLP451E. Apparently, it’s the same procedure as yours. But how do you know that the counter is at zero? Because I don’t have a counter menu. Thank you in advance, Gael.

Hello
Thanks especially to you for finding "your" solution because it is obvious that not all manufacturers have adopted a reset mode like yours. Take care and have a great time at the screenings.
