Connect amplifier/speakers to my Acer H6520bd projector

Hello, I bought a Acer H6520bd projector and I want to connect my amp/speakers to this projector. I have to connect my PC via VGA and connect my speakers to the PC. If I connect the PC via HDMI, the sound comes out of the projector's speakers and not from my speakers.

So, is it possible to connect my speakers to this projector?

Hello, I'm going to bring a bit of simplicity
connect the projector for the image however you want, in VGA or HDMI, turn off the sound from the projector and connect the audio stream either from the PC through an SPDIF, optical, or coaxial audio output, or from a DVD player to your amplifier
that's how it works at my place

Yes, but our friend isn't talking to us about the input connections of his DJ amplifier, or its model number.

Good evening, I had the same problem, just go to your control panel and select the audio output to the jack instead of via HDMI. It's very simple, but I searched for a long time!!
