Hello,

Annoying situation, but I've already managed to restore anyway.

If you have an XP CD or another boot CD for partition management (other than Vista or Win7 which don’t really format with a proper pass of 00), you can start a "full format" of your "Windows" partition, but don’t finish it, (press the Reset button on the tower in the middle of the formatting), which will result in deleting the Windows partition and making the partition containing the Recovery "Primary."

So, it should start to restore from the recovery (as if you pressed F11).

If you had made restoration DVDs beforehand, that would have been good; you could try to make them afterwards (if you manage to restore), but it may be that you can no longer do so (it will act like F11), you won't be able to use it anymore.
