Hello, I have the Easy Recovery Professional 6.0 software. After reformatting my PC, I use it to recover folders and raw data, everything goes well until I indicate where my recovered folders should be copied. Then this message appears: "the selected destination path is on the source partition. Please select another destination."
To which destination can I copy my recovered data?
Thank you

Hello,
I would like to post a little addition that might be useful.
I can confirm that the destination drive needs to be connected before starting the program, but to save you from having to restart the entire scan and if you are stuck at the data recovery stage, there is a solution.
_The program will display the same message "the selected destination path is located on the source partition" if you connect your external hard drive afterwards, but not if you plug in a simple USB stick.
_It will start the copy, and after a few seconds, you can cancel it.
_It will ask you if you want to save a scan history, say OK and choose the path.
_Close the program and restart it after having connected your external hard drive, of course.
_Open the "ersave.dat" with easy R and there you go, it will recognize the correct path this time
The strange thing to note is that you need to connect the recovery drive externally and before starting the log.
For GetDataBack ntfs, use a drive formatted as FAT32 for recovery, you will have fewer unpleasant surprises as well.
Have a good day.
