Hi everyone!
So I’m not really sure, maybe my question is stupid but I didn’t find a solution anywhere else...
So here it is: I set up Hotmail on MAIL on my iPhone. And the problem is that I wanted to reread a message I sent to a friend and I can't find it anywhere. I went to look on MAIL (on my Mac) and there are only the messages I sent via MAIL on Mac. I don’t have any of those sent with the iPhone or those sent via a PC on Hotmail Live, I don’t know what’s going on...
So I don’t know if it’s normal but well...
Otherwise, my configuration on the iPhone is:
POP account information:
name: well, my name
address: my Hotmail address
description: my Hotmail address
Incoming server
hostname: pop3.live.com
username: my Hotmail address
password: well... my Hotmail password
Outgoing server
SMTP: smtp.live.com
Advanced
Use SSL: enabled
Authentication: password
Delete from server: never
Server port: 995
Well that’s it, it’s practical for me since I don’t understand anything... And yes! I’m hopeless... So if someone could help me that would be super nice! Thanks!

thank you but it doesn't work! I did as you said, went to settings then to mail, then to my account and there! I can't activate mail.
I live in Africa and my iPhone is unlocked for all networks, I'm on POP and MTC mobile Namibia! I don't understand anything because my inbox displays, I receive my emails, those I send arrive at the recipient so apparently everything is fine except that there is no outbox.
