Hello,
I have Pinnacle Studio 12 and I'm having a problem with photos. I originally take pictures at 12 megapixels, so they are of good quality, but as soon as I want to edit them with my software, all the photos become blurry and therefore unusable. Does anyone have a solution because I'm really struggling. However, everything works fine for videos.
Thanks in advance.

Hello, here’s an explanation: What sizes should I use to display my photos in a slideshow?
If your goal is to broadcast your slideshow on a standard PAL television and your photos are in 4:3 format (from a compact camera or bridge), it's better to resize the photos to 768x576. The number 768 corresponds to the size of some LCD televisions. If your camera is in 3:2 format (like Canon or Nikon DSLRs), resize to 864x576, but on your 4:3 TV, you will need to crop or leave black bars on the right and left. In any case, a larger dimension is unnecessary because the software that imports your still image resizes it and may distort the image. The only exception is if the display is in HD, where you can extend the size to 1280x720 or 1920x1080 pixels. For documents, a resolution of 150 dpi maximum is recommended; JPEG or TIFF does not change the final result. -
I am really a novice in this area. As for the size of my photos, they are mostly 3968x2976. So I just tried with one photo and resized it to 768x576, but it doesn't change the problem; it's still just as blurry. I don't understand why I lose so much quality.

Hello, I just made a video with a mix of photos and video. My photos are 2048x1536 (600kb) from a Minolta "Dimage" camera. I played the video on a 32-inch TV, and the quality is uniform compared to the video. I'm finalizing with a minimum compression of 8000kb/s to achieve the best result without drops.

Hello,
I'm not going to the stage of burning to DVD because even on a large screen, the photos are blurry. Do I need to go to the burning stage for them to become clear? I'm really lost. -
One can only judge the result of photos converted into video on a television screen.
