Hello,

I have been using the McAfee antivirus for several years, and I just changed my computer from a desktop to a laptop.

The 2010 subscription was paid for in December 2009.

What is the procedure to follow to transfer the antivirus to the new hardware? Thank you for your response.

    How do I proceed if my old computer has crashed and I want to install it on my new computer? There's no way to uninstall McAfee! By the way, I have a one-year subscription, what should I do?

    Hello,

    to transfer the antivirus to the new hardware, it must be fully uninstalled from the old PC, and it should not be left on the old one, as we are allowed only one license per PC.

    Then you just need to reinstall McAfee on the new PC and simply enter the license key.

      I have a question? What if your old computer crashed and you have a new one, how do you do it? I have a one-year subscription but it was on the old crashed computer and there's no way to uninstall McAfee? Can someone help me? Thank you.
