Hello, the scanning of a score is not very reliable in this software, as it does not necessarily recognize musical notation if the score is old or if the fonts differ from the software.
However, here are the steps to follow hoping it will work in your case.
1- Outside of the software, scan the score and save it in Tiff format.
2- Go to the file menu and then to the smartscorelite scanner option.
3- Click on Tiff import and the smartscorelite window opens.
4- The only option is to click on add files and find the tiff file.
Once again, success is very random, so good luck.

Hello! You seem to know what you're talking about. My problem with FINALE 2005b is the cautionary bars, which are taken with brackets: I can select an end number 1 of a measure BEFORE THE BAR /// and then on the next pass it skips that measure... BUT I can't select more than one measure (to skip the second time! !). Do you know how to proceed? Thank you // Rockaill
