Colin mcrae 2005 pc, unlock

Hello everyone,

I wanted to know if anyone has managed to unlock the stages and the cars. In the manual it says that you have to do the championship. I managed to unlock some but not the majority. I finished 3rd in the championship but that didn’t unlock anything else.
Does anyone have the solution?

      i have a question about dirt and i don’t know where to post it so i’m asking you
      i’m level 5 in pro am and my problem is the following: when i take part in a race where there are 2 specials e.g.: japan lvl4 with the c4 concept i win the 1st special but i have damage on my car so i want to repair i go to repair and surprise all car parts are at 100% (i have the same problem in all races where there are several events) do you have an explanation is it a bug if so how to fix it?

    according to a FNAC seller, I need to download a compatibility patch... how to do it? how to choose? how to use it? where to find it? !

    Stop searching for solutions, because there are none with Colin McRae Rally 2005 running on Vista since it is not compatible. I called Codemasters' technical support directly and I was enormously disappointed to learn that it’s online... The solution is to switch to the 2007 version, paying careful attention to the minimum/Recommended configurations! Indeed...

    Problem

    Colin McRae Rally 2005 does not run on Windows Vista

    Solution

    Install the game.

    1) Download and install patch 1.1 for this game from

    http://www.codemasters.co.uk/downloads/?downloadid=16671

    2) Download and install the patch called “64-bit” for this game, which you can find on the site

    http://www.codemasters.co.uk/downloads/?downloadid=20835 ~

    Install this patch even if you have the 32-bit version.

    3) Launch the game. This will install the protection system drivers, then you will be prompted to restart your PC. Do so.

    4) Vista will block the protection system drivers due to compatibility issues. Download and install the protection system drivers update found at http://www.star-force.com/support/users/

      I followed the procedure to upgrade Collin Mac Ray 5 under Vista.

      It works except that now the application refuses to start with the excuse that the CD is not inserted in the computer (even though it is inserted and even the CD's autorun works, so it doesn't come from my PC...)...

      What should I do????

      I just changed my computer (Windows Vista 64-bit). I reinstalled Colin McRae Rally 2005 and it doesn’t work. So I did some searching and I found on your forum a procedure that I followed, namely:
      - installation of patch 1.1
      - installation of the 64-bit patch for Windows (cmr5win64)
      - installation of the StarForce driver update (sfdrvup)
      With this last patch I progressed because it starts reading the CD and authenticates the disc but it crashes when launching the game (Windows reports a problem and closes the program)
      I note that if I launch with the CD (and not from the hard drive file) the demo runs but the 'play' command in the game interface does not work.
      I’ve spent more than a day on this and I’m kind of at my limit here......
      could you tell me where it still goes wrong?
      I really care about this game which is my favorite.

        As far as I’m concerned, I installed Colin McRae 2005 on my PC running Vista (32-bit). It works very well. On the other hand, there might be a hardware problem. It is necessary to have a graphics card that supports DirectX 9c. Another thing, but you may have already tried it, is the compatibility mode. Right-click the program shortcut > Properties > Compatibility tab > check “Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP.” If you have the codes to unlock the cars, let me know!
