Hello,

I have a problem with my touchpad: the pad is not working anymore. I just bought an HP Compaq 610, it worked for 1 week, and now it’s not working!
I have tried almost all the solutions I found on forums, pressing FN and all the other keys from F1 to F12... no results. I have disabled, re-enabled, uninstalled, and reinstalled the drivers via the website and the CD, no results!!!
In the control panel, hardware, mouse, device tab, the mouse name does not exist, it’s empty, and all the icons in this tab are grayed out :s
Thank you for your help..... SOS

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 6.0

Do you not have a touchpad software installed or a button that activates and deactivates it?

Hello, I would like to report a problem with my HP Compaq 610. It's been almost a year since I bought my PC, and after about 10 months, it started acting up. In the end, I find myself with the left Ctrl key not working anymore, along with the Fn key and the other associated keys. If anyone can shed some light on this, thank you.

      for the mouse pad issue:
control panel --> hardware and sound --> devices and printers... --> tab [hardware] then the tab driver and click on --------> [update driver]
