HP Compaq Mini 311 won't start

Hello everyone:
I have an HP Compaq Mini 311, without a CD drive, running Windows 7.

When I turn it on, I get the COMPAQ logo, the screen is on, and it keeps booting in a loop.
I tried removing the power supply, holding the power button for a minute, etc., but nothing has changed.

I can't access the BIOS by pressing all the function keys.
I created a bootable USB drive with W7, but I can't boot from it.

Need help, thanks.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 15.0.1

If you can't boot from your USB drive, you might think it's because of your boot sequence.
Did you do anything before you got that?

No, nothing at all, it's just that when I turned the computer back on earlier, it was working fine yesterday, I haven't changed the boot sequence!

Yes, but your current boot sequence does not allow booting from a USB drive. If the bug is not coming from your hard drive, then you can try to clear the CMOS.

First, remove your hard drive and turn on your PC to see if the problem still persists.

You need to reset your motherboard, a clear CMOS.
I suppose your PC is a laptop?

Absolutely, it's a Compaq mini laptop, I see the battery on the motherboard.

Is the battery connected to the black and red wires?

Alright, have you already removed the black casing that surrounds it?
If not, can you take a photo of the battery without the casing?

Do you see where the red and black wires are connected?
They are connected to a small piece of plastic that is connected to the motherboard.
See if you can unplug the small black plastic piece.

I can see very well, but I really have to force to get it off; it feels like it's stuck.

Can you use a flat screwdriver on the side of the plastic to see if it moves?

    Yes, it's moving a bit!

So you can try to remove it gently.
After doing that, the battery is no longer connected to the motherboard, so you can remove the battery if you haven't already done so, and press the power button until there is no current left in your PC; the operation consists of resetting the PC to its factory settings.
Don't forget to remove the hard drive.

I managed to remove the contact between the battery and the motherboard.
So I'm not plugging it into the mains?
