They gave me my tracking number and it actually works.
So I contacted DHL and they do have a package in my name. It is arriving today in France, but then she told me not before Monday for the delivery to my home.
Well, there’s definitely a package, and there’s definitely a delivery scheduled! That all seems reassuring :-)

Hi! I received my car last Thursday! Yes, it matches the picture, but there isn't the adapter for the English plug! You can find one for 5 euros or even cheaper!

Hi, so I just received the package right now, so it's actually 1 day longer than expected. The package stagnated for 1 day going from Bristol to Birmingham, and then everything sped up, sent to Paris, received by Chronopost and delivered just now, so 3 days is pretty good!
The bulky and heavy package is not damaged, I just opened it and nothing is broken, and it looks like good stuff!! I’m not disappointed so far! My daughter is going to be happy tomorrow!

Here it is put together, the instructions provided are not very clear but on their website, there is a very well-made image guide!

The only small downside is the English/French 220V power adapter, which is not great.

We also have a 12V car which accelerated sharply at startup. Now, it won't start at all.
We contacted customer service: the response took a bit long, but after a week, we got an email response: here is his reply in somewhat approximate French: Hello

We ordered a car at the end of November from voiture-electrique-pour-enfant and received it within the announced timeframe.
Unfortunately, upon receipt, it had some damage to the bodywork, and so we called and sent photos of the damaged parts.
We got a response quite quickly on the phone, unlike other people from the site; the lady we spoke to was very kind and offered to send us another car for free... (unfortunately, her supervisor refused) so she refunded our entire order (Car, shipping fees + license plate) and on top of that, they let us keep the car (albeit damaged, but with a bit of fiberglass and some stickers... it shouldn't be too noticeable)
We have received the refund.
In this case, the site was very professional in handling our issue!
As for the car, it was intended for two children, 2 years and 4 years old!!!
And indeed, the 2-seater car is really too small for both!!! But it should be fine for the older one.
So we bought a little Cars car for the younger one!!!
I think they're going to be super happy with Santa Claus!!! lol
And the parents will be happy to have to store 2 cars instead of one!!! lolol

Hello everyone who will read this message, I ordered an electric remote-controlled ride-on toy for children, a 4X4 Jeep type, on the website voitures-electriques-pour-enfants.fr. It arrived quite quickly, but the steering box was torn off, the mounting bracket was broken, and there was a lot of play in the steering. I paid almost €10 for the license plates in my daughter's name, but I still haven't received anything to this day. Additionally, the switch to change from slow to fast speed was reversed. The speed and direction are all or nothing, meaning they are not proportional, which makes it very difficult to control with the remote (two fixed speeds, 2.5 km and 5 km, and therefore non-variable), very imprecise steering in all or nothing, causing us to constantly redirect it. There is no differential system, so as soon as one wheel is off the ground, it doesn't move anymore. It still remains interesting given the price if the customer service takes care of replacing the broken steering box upon arrival and the plates that I still haven't received. I will update on this unfortunate experience if it ends well.

Well, for the moment the person I have by email at the following address, ventes@voiture-electrique-pour-enfant.fr, doesn't seem very competent or well equipped. They tell me they cannot open a video in AVI format with DivX, and apparently, they also don't know how to open a photo in JPG format. They tell me to give them the number of the photo from the slideshow on their website, where the photos are not numbered. So I told them it's the seventh photo from the first one, but then I realize that either they're burying their head in the sand, or they speak French without understanding it? Anyway... for now. Hello, I received today, Saturday, December 31, the license plates in my daughter's name, well that's quite expensive for what it is. At the back, the bumper of the 4X4 has a flat surface, that will do, but at the front, it's tough, no long screws provided and no spacers. So I'll have to figure out a way to install them properly.
The kit includes 2 plates that look quite a bit like real ones + 4 double-sided adhesives to hold them in place, as well as four screws (the holes are already made in the plates) and then you have to center the stickers, which fit perfectly inside, and there you go! For the rest, I’m waiting for their offices to reopen on January 3, 2012, happy holidays everyone!

Good evening, Angy, yes for me the problem is solved. The customer service is really great, they sent me a new steering motor block. And they are really nice and professional.
As for the steering, the play came from the bolting of the column in the steering box, for which I found a trick: a tight hose clamp around it and it's done, no more play!

In possession of a 4x4 vehicle with 2 batteries since Christmas 2010, it has been satisfactory, except for the remote control which no longer commands the direction change, left or right, but only the forward and backward movement. Overall, we are happy.
