All this to say that in the future, for those who have just acquired a Philips phone (I mention this brand because it is a recurring issue with their products) and who have this problem of the handset displaying "Out of Range", it is simply necessary to return it and it will be replaced. This is repairable, but when you have a product under warranty, do not hesitate, knowing that in the specific case we are discussing, you should ask for an exchange rather than trying to use the warranty.
